Pelican Rapids ADA Ramp Improvement

HZ United provided a full range of engineering services for ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades and signal modifications at 17 intersections, several mid-blocks and small segment of trail crossings in the City of Pelican Rapids, MN. Detailed tasks included project management and coordination with MnDOT staff, ADA inspection, evaluation and design of ADA pedestrian ramps, and modifying traffic signals to accommodate the ADA ramps. HZ United produced the Project Quality Management Plan, existing pedestrian ramp evaluation, ROW impact review, utility and grade survey, proposed improvements, ADA ramp layouts, drainage improvements, erosion control plan, control points, statement of estimated quantities, project special provision, and construction support.
