TH 169/ I-494 Interchange Reconstruction Design-Build

The replacement project consisted of a major high speed, high volume multi-level interchange to improve safety, lower delay and increase system capacity located in Bloomington, Edina and Eden Prairie MN. HZ United provided roadway design services involving traffic control, temporary roadway design, retaining wall layout, erosion control, and utility engineering. Tasks included retaining wall design defining wall layout, grading, and quantities. HZ United was also responsible for traffic control and management detail design, and preparing MOT and detour plans for all phases and coordinating and updating construction staging to account for flood mitigation, government shutdown and Contractor preferences.
